About us

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.

SHIVERS is a multi-disciplinary, artist-run gallery, bookshop, and creative studios on Sydney Rd. Brunswick (Melbourne/Naarm).

Shivers Gallery launched in 2025 with a program of exhibitions emphasising experimental practice and narratives of marginalisation, migration, and identity. Our 2026 program is open for applications from local and international artists and curators across disciplines and is an Arts Merri-Bek Flourish Grant recipient.

Our two-storey space also houses Next Door Tattoos and Neety Does Nails on the upper level.

If you’re interested in getting to know us, collaborating, or lending a hand, we’d love to hear from you.
