Terra Firma X Shivers GalleryAs part of the Melbourne Art Book Fair 2026.
Publisher of Terra Firma magazine, Sophie Willison is hosting a weekend long workshop inviting participants to contribute to a collaborative time capsule of 2026.
A mini photo studio will be set up within Shivers Gallery, where Sophie will photograph a precious or personally significant object brought in by each participant. Alongside the photographs, participants will be invited to contribute a handwritten note reflecting on the meaning and story behind their chosen object.
These images and texts will be archived as part of a 10-year open call for Terra Firma Magazine. The works will remain hidden until 2036, when they will be published in the magazine’s 10th and final issue, offering a rare and reflective snapshot of memory, identity, and time from the perspective of 2026.

After a decade-long absence from composing, Kira returns to the piano in a deeply personal and evocative reunion. This body of neo-classical work explores the textures of our shared feeling experience.
Each piece carries a distinct emotional architecture, guiding the listener through tension, fragility, and release. Sentience reflects our innate connection to story, to one another, and the quiet beauty that persists within the chaos.
This is an intimate evening hosted by Shivers Gallery; a unique listening room where presence and community are held at the heart of the experience.
